A Favorite Experience Makes for a Favorite Page in MY Life's Book! - Salt Spring Island

Well,it was long awaited, but so worth the wait...our trip to Salt Spring Island.

Randy has always loved this word...a word he had never heard before I came along! In fact, we had several 'discussions' if such a word even existed!!


Last October at our charity's Global Heartbeat Fundraising Dinner, I was so worried when Frankie was bidding on one of the Live Adventure Auction items and when he actually won the bid, I couldn't believe it. It was a two night stay at a Bed and Breakfast and a day excursion of kayaking! I couldn't figure out who he was planning on taking!! When we got home I couldn't hold it in any longer and when I asked him about it, Randy and Frank started giggling like little kids and finally they admitted that it was a surprise for me for our next anniversary!
I've looked forward to this little excursion for over half a year and as I already said...it was worth the wait...it was delightful! Enjoy the smile box!....I want to go again!!
